Introducing activities at the Center for Climate Change Adaptation to the “2024 Fiscal Year Polar Future Youth”

The Center for Climate Change Adaptation received the “2024 Fiscal Year Polar Future Youth.” The group of 30 visited from the Tianjin Extreme Climate Change Response Promotion Center (Polar Future) as part of the Ministry of Foreign Affair’s “Japan-China Afforestation and Tree-Planting International Solidarity Project."

Researchers Fujita Tomohiro and Yuki Yoshida introduced CCCA’s domestic and international outreach activities with the assistance of a Japanese to Chinese translator. The youth had many questions, such as about the role of scientific information in policy making, projections beyond this century, and relationships between A/P-PLAT and research.
