On March 23, 2023, the Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Information Platform (AP-PLAT) in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment (MOEJ), National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), and Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), released a joint press release regarding the development of two documents: AP-PLAT Framework for Action 2023-2025, and Strategy for AP-PLAT Capacity Development Program 2023-2025.

AP-PLAT Framework for Action 2023-2025 outlines a strategic plan for establishing partnerships and fostering collaborative efforts on critical adaptation issues, consistent with the founding objectives of AP-PLAT.
The document provides an overview of the purpose of AP-PLAT, outlines priority issues for the current term, defines the endorsing organizations of AP-PLAT, and describes the expected outcomes of collaboration. Additionally, the document details the methods for building consensus within AP-PLAT.

Strategy for AP-PLAT Capacity Development Program 2023-2025 was created as a part of the AP-PLAT Framework for Action 2023-2025 to focus on capacity building activities, which is one of the three pillars of AP-PLAT's initiatives.
The document outlines the key strategies and priority activities of the capacity building program, as well as the expected results of collaboration with capacity partner organizations of AP-PLAT.
